The Art of photography
Jaya is an award winning photographer with a distinct creative vision, she has been a consistent presence in the photography industry for 29 years. Known for her passion for learning and calm nature. Jaya has dedicated her life not only to mastering her craft but also to mentoring emerging photographers from around the world, sharing her extensive knowledge and passion for the art form.
Her journey has seen her successfully launch nine studios throughout Queensland. Fostering an environment of learning and creative exploration under Jaya’s expert guidance.
Throughout her career, Jaya has navigated the tumultuous waters of industry change with grace and adaptability, embracing new technologies and methodologies to propel her work to new heights. After facing a life threatening breast cancer diagnosis in 2013 and years of treatment she needed to start again with no marketing money. Her resilience and commitment to her personal brand and craft made this comeback easy and has made her a respected figure in the photography community, inspiring countless individuals to pursue their passion for photography.
